Store Closing
As of April 12th, CorSec Engineering will cease taking orders. I am working through the backlog of orders over the next two weeks and will be fulfilling any order received over that time as fast as possible. Depending on volume, it may take some time to clear them but I’ll do my best to get them out as fast as possible. Laser cut tokens and templates will be discounted and sold until inventory runs out. Omni-stand orders will be left open ended so everyone can order what they need for any upcoming projects.
I want to thank all of our customers for their dedication and patience over the past years of operation. I have tried to keep things rolling as long as possible, but I can no longer keep up. My health has been declining for years and the process to make Omni-stands has started doing a number on my hands. I am taking a full time position as an engineer and need to dedicate my time and efforts towards that.
What about the Omni-stand system?
I see the same names over and over and am grateful to those that have adopted the system and use it regularly. That is why this has been such a hard decision and a long time coming. I have been considering a few options but I don’t know if there is a way to keep them in production. I will have more on that in the future.
For those that don’t know, I started making props and cosplay related items a few years ago to make ends meet. Some aspects of that will still be ongoing and it will mostly be my antics making crazy props and producing video content. Its probably going to be quite for some time as I clear up all outstanding CorSec Engineering business and acclimate to the new job but if you are interested in seeing what crazy things I’m up to then CorSec Props will be the place to find that.
I want to thank all of you for the most amazing and probably hardest ride of my life. CorSec Engineering started because someone needed a laser cut base and I wanted to try out this weird online service. After seeing how he attached the telescoping rod to it, I knew there must be a better way and that was the start of the omni-stand system. It has been just about 8 years since I started doing research on it for its launch in July 2011. I fully intended to get another job back then, but the community responded and I decided to see where this could take me. I made a lot of mistakes and learned a ton. It’s time I move on and maybe remember how to play some of those games that started this whole venture. My only regret is not getting out to more conventions and meeting you fine folks. Maybe someday I’ll be able to put a few faces to the names. Thank you for a memorable 8 years.
